I graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Technology with a minor in Computer Information Systems. My GPA upon graduation was a 3.88.
At WKU, I was also part of the Executive Apprenticeship Program. This program focused on professionalism and during this program I learned a great deal about working in today’s professional world.
I also supplement my current skills and acquire new ones through independent study. I do this mostly by using ITProTV, a subscription based service that offers training courses for IT skills. This service largely focuses on earning industry certifications. It also provides lab simulation environments and practice exams. I used this service while studying for my CompTIA Security+ Certification and am currently using it to gain more knowledge for my next certification.

In the future, I plan on sharpening my Python programming skills and learn more hacking concepts through CTF competitions. I’m always excited to learn new skills and am very willing to shift gears to a specific certification if the right opportunity demands it.
